About Us
Use The Sun Ltd was established in 2009. With the implementation of the Feed In Tariff in April 2010 there is a growing demand for good quality, value for money solar panels. After months of investigation UTS can now meet this demand.
Use the Sun (Installation) Ltd was established in 2010 to act as the installation arm of UTS. An experienced and qualified green engineer teamed up with UTS to offer quality, value for money installation.

For many years a teacher and director/owner of IHA Ltd in 2009 Charles decided to move on and indulge his passion for a cleaner world. Solar PV is a thing of the future, as Charles says "We didn't leave the stone age because we ran out of stone, or the iron age because we ran out of iron. Solar PV and similar technologies will help us to leave the Fossil Fuel age".

James joined Use the Sun Ltd immediately after completing his postgraduate degree in Ningbo, China. His interest in solar energy has developed over time and led to him writing his postgraduate thesis on Photovoltaic technology and then ultimately taking a job in the solar industry. At Use the Sun Ltd James runs the logistical operations of the business, establishing supply chains through contacts made whilst in China and then ensuring the equipment is safely and effectively installed for our clients. James is also responsible for after sale service, including completing the Feed in Tariff forms and reminding our customers when their meter readings are due and solving any technical problems or complaints.

Henry is head of Sales and Business Development for Use the Sun Ltd. He has over 8 years experience in Business to Consumer and Business to Business marketing and business development. Henry holds a Masters degree in International Management completed whilst living and working in China and studied his Bachelors in Management at The University of Nottingham. Henry is passionate that photovoltaic technology has the potential to revolutionise the UK's energy industry, he works to ensure that Use the Sun's sales and business development strategy focuses on delivering its customers exceptional technology and outstanding customer service at competitive prices.
